A RE80LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD, CAL2FORNIA, PA89ING UPON OBJECTIONB, AND
DIRECTING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ABATE THE
WEED NUIBANCE THAT EXI9T5 ON VACANT LOTS IN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD.
Be 1t resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,

WfiEREA3, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California
did,. on the 20th day of February, 195� adopt Resolution No. 2305 re-
lating to the�abatement of dry and drying weeds on certain lots in the
City of Lynwood, and ,
WHEREA3, due notice wae given to deatroy auch weeds by pos.t-
ing "Notice to Deatroy S4eeds�' notices at not more than 100 feet in die-
tance apart as required by law, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of pro-
teate and ob,jections to aaid matter, a hearing was duly held and no
written or oral ob,jectione were made, either in writing or orally, to
the doing of eaid work, and
�� WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has con-
sidered all of the facta and ia fully informed in the matter; that they
have acquired ,juriediction to proceed and perPorm the work of removal
of said nuisancea,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the 9treet Superinten-
dent of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed to abate the
nuieances deecribed in sald Resolution No 2305 by having the weeds re-
ferred to removed, and he and hia aeaiatanta are hereby expresaly auth-
• orized to enter upon private property for that purpose.
, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property ownera ahall have
, the right to have any auch weed nuisance removed and abated a.t his own
expenee, provided auch work is done prior to the time the work is done
by the Street Superintendent. If the work is done b,y the property
owner, no charge ahall be made by the City of Lynwood.
