Seton Lindsay Commissioner S.B. Iglehart Town Clerk Commissioner Wm.J.Bauer The Mayor presented a tentative budget for the Town Commission to determine the amount of money which shall be needed for all purposed in the operation of the Town for the current year, and and to levy a tax upon all real property within the Town szff- icient to produce the amount needed. The above motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Bauer and un- animously adopted. Upon Motion by Commissioner L. Seton Lindsay, seconded by Commissioner S.B.Iglehart and unanimously approved the millage for the year 1952 was set at 8 mills. There being no further business to come before the meeting it adjourned. Mayor Commissioner L. eton i Minutes of Town Commission, sitting as Board of Equalizers of Taxes. The Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, meeting at the Town Hall in Gulf Stream, Florida on the 5th,7th and 8th day of July 1952 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 noon, as a Board of Equalizers to examine the Tax Assessment Roll for 1952 as submitted to it by the Town Tax Assessor and to equalize values based upon any Tax Payers complaint. Present at said meeting, Town Commissioners, L.Seton Lindsay, S.B.Iglehart and Wm.J.Bauer. The Town Tax Assessor presented the total assessed valuation of property within the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida for the year 1952 and the following valuations as shown on the 1952 Town Tax Roll. Total Value of All Real Estate and Improvements for 1952 Total valuation of all real estate and improvements $136022219.00 Homestead Exemptions $9,300.00 Lands held under Town Tax Sale Certificates none Total V..lue of Real Estate and improve- ments less Homestead $1,5122919.00 $1,602,219.00 After reviewing the Tax Roll and the Assessed Valuations as shown thereon and submitted to the Town Commission sitting as a'Board of Equalizers by the Town Tax Assessor, the following resolution was offered for adoption. WHEREAS, the Town Commission met as a Board of Equalizers at the Town Hall in the Town of Gulf Stream, on the 5th,7th and 8th of July 1952 and at said meeting heard all complaints by Tax Payers in reference to the assessed valuations placed on the Assessment Roll by the Town Tax Assessor, and it was found that the-Tax Assessment Roll as prepared by the Tax Assessor was fair, reasonable and just, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said real estate tax roll for 1952, as submitted by the Town Tax Assessor, be and the same is hereby equalized and adjusted as required by law, and the same is accepted as being fair, just and equal as to valuations. On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the above and foregoing resolution was adopted.
