AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH CME
ASSOCIATES, RE: TA.\': MAP NWNTENANCE
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional land surveying services in regard
to tax map maintenance; and
\VllliREAS, CwfE Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New Jersey 07731, possesses the
requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
\VHEREAS, CwlE Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total cost
not to exceed $17,500.00; and
\VHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
\VHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said
purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough of
Carteret, County of lvIiddlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from CiYIE Associates for land surveying services in regard to
tax map maintenance, at a total cost not to exceed $17,500.00 is hereby
approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to NJ.S.A 40A:Il-5(1)(a) awarded pursuant to the Borough's Fair
and Open process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be fonvarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and CME Associates.

As per Resolution Number 10-234.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR LAND SURVEYING SERVICES IN
REGARD TO TAX MAP MAINTENANCE.
NOT TO EXCEED $17,500.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
