AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAl SERVICES CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES WITH CME ASSOCIATES-
HEAlTH At\'D WELLNESS CENTER PARKING LOT
"\VHEREASI the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized engineering services related to the
Carteret Health and \Vellness Center Parking Lot; and
'rVHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New Jersey 07731, possesses the
requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
"'HEREAS, C1'vfE Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total cost
not to exceed $16,500.00; and
\VHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
\\'HEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said
purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the Borough of
Carteret, COlmty oHvliddlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from CME Associates for preparation of a site plan related to the
Carteret Health and '\Vellness Center Parking Lot, at a total cost not to exceed
$16,500.00 is hereby approved;
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:1l-5(1)(a) in accordance with the Borough's Fair
and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be fonvarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Cr.'IE Associates.
