Member Pederson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2011-38
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING VOLUNTEERS
FOR MEDINA'S ANNUAL CLEAN-UP DAY
WHEREAS, the City of Medina has their annual clean-up day the last Saturday of April
each year; and
WHEREAS, on this clean-up day many city residents volunteer their time; and
WHEREAS, Boy Scout Troop #570, as well as their leaders, volunteered several hours
Saturday picking up garbage in many of the ditches throughout the City of Medina; and
WHEREAS, many city employees, consultants, commissioners, and other officials also
volunteer their time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Medina,
that all volunteers are hereby recognized and appreciated for their time and commitment to
making Medina's Annual Clean Up Day a success.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Siitari
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Martinson, Pederson, Siitari
and the following voted against same: (Absent: Weir)
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
