RESOLUTION N0. 2322
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IN CGNNECTION
WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIMITATION FOR THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF PEACH STREET.
WHEREA3, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
th'e 6th day of March, 1951, approve an inveatigation report under the
provisiona of Division 4� of the 3treets and Highwaya Code cited as
�'Special Aeaesement Investigation, Limitation and I�a,Jority Protest
Act of 1931�� upon the propoaed improvement of Peach Street, by the
conetruction of cement concrete curbs, cement concrete guttere and I
cement concrete aidewalka, all as ehown on Plan No. 1951-B on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said city; and
WHEREAS, said report having been duly prepared and iiled,
a nearing was held. by said City Council on the 17th day of April,,
1951 in the manner provided in said Act above referred to; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired aince the date
of mailing noticea oP hearing on eaid report;
NOW, THEREFORE, tne City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby reaolve as followa:
l. That the protests made at said hearing on said investi-
gation report be and the same are hereby overruled;
2. Tnat the public interest, convenience, and neceasity
require the doing and making of the public iraprovement set forth and
deacribed in aaid report above referred to and eu'oetantially in the
manner aet forth;
3. That the pro,�ect consieting of the proposed improvement
above referred to ie feasible; �
4. That the eatimated total amount propoeed to be aeeeeaed
upon any or all lote or parcels of land for the coata,and expensee of
� eaid proposed improvement does not exceed the limitation of indebtedneae
establiehed and aet forth in eaid Act above referred to and vaill not,
by the levy thereof, cauae eaid limitation to be exceeded in any
inatance;

5. That no ma�ority protest in writing has been filed by
the o�anera of the property propoaed to be aesesaed to pay the.coata
and expenses of said propoaed improvement or any part thereof in
the manner provSded.in said Act above referred to;
6, That it is hereby ordered that the proceedinga for
the making of eaid proposed improvement be undertaken pursuant to
the provisions of an Act of the Legialature o£ the State of Ca.li-
fornia, designated as Diviaion 7 of the Streets and Highwaye Code
cited as the �'Improvement Act of 1911, ana amendments thereto°.
APPROVID and ADOPTED thie 17th d_ay of April, 1951.
