IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF
PEACH STREET BY THE CONBTRUCTION OF CURB3,
SIDEWALKS AND GUTTERS.
RE80LUTION OVER.RULING PROTESTB AND DETERP4IN-
ING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAB ACQUIRED JURIB-
DICTION TO ORDE� THE PROPOSED laORK OR IMPROVE-
MENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City o£ Lynwood did, on
the 17th day of April, 1951, adopt its Resolution of.Intention No.
2324 ordering the improvement of PEACH STREET by the conatruction of
cement concrete curbs, cement�concrete guttera and cement concrete
eidewalka, and
WHEREAS, Tueeday, the 15th day of May, 1951, at the hour
' of B:OO o'clock p.m. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in
eaid City of Lynwood, wae the time and place set in said Reaolution
of Intention when and where any ob,Jectiona to the proposed work or
improvement, or to the extent of the diatrict to be asseesed, or to �
the gradea to which the orork was propoaed to be done, would be heard
by eaid City Council; and
VIHEREAB, the City Clerk of eaid City has heretofore preaented
and filed an affidavit of publication of said Resolution of Intention,
� ahowing that the same tiaas publiehed according to law; and
WHEREAB, said City Clerk has also preeented and filed hia
affidavit of mailing notices of the adoption of eaid Resolution of
Intention in the time, form, and manner, and to the peraons, all as
provided by an Act,of the Legislature of the State of Callfornia, deaig-
nated ae Diviaion 7 of the Streets and Highways Code, and cited as the
"Improvement Act of 1911", and amendments thereto, and
WHEREAB, the City Engineer-Superintendent of 3treets has
heretofore presented and filed an affidavit showing that notices of
the paseage oP said Resolution o£ Intention have been posted in the
manner provided by said Act; and �
WH�tEA5, at eaid hearing held on the 15th day of May, 1951,
no proteata were filed againet any o£ the thinga propoaed to be done

under Reeolution of Intention No. 2324,
NOi9, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the said City Council has acquired full �urie-
diction to order the propoaed work or improvement.
