CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2011-44
RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL OF A LOT COMBINATION TO
ELIZABETH RINGER FOR PROPERTY AT 1700 DEERHILL ROAD
WHEREAS, the city of Medina (the "City") is a municipal corporation, organized and
existing under the laws of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Ringer, (the "Applicant') is the owner of two parcels of property
generally located to the southwest of Deerhill Road, which are legally described in Exhibit A,
attached hereto (the "Properties"); and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested approval from the City to combine the
Properties into a single lot, which is legally described in Exhibit B, attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011, the city council reviewed the proposed lot combination
for conformance with City ordinances and heard comments from interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA, that approval be granted to the Applicant for the proposed
lot combination, subject to the following terms and conditions:
(1) The Applicant shall grant a 33-foot wide easement to the City for right-of-way purposes
adjacent to the eastern 66 feet of the northern property line.
(2) The Applicant shall grant 10-foot wide drainage and utility easements to the City adjacent
to the exterior of the proposed lot;
(3)
The Applicant shall grant drainage and utility easements to the City over the wetlands on
the proposed lot;
(4) The Applicant shall meet the requirements of the City Attorney with regards to title
documentation and procedures for recording documents with Hennepin County;
(5)
The Applicant shall record necessary documents with Hennepin County in order to carry
through with the lot combination within 180 days or this approval shall be considered void,
unless a written request for time extension is submitted by the Applicant and approved by
the City Council; and

(6) The Applicant shall pay to the City a fee in an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for
the cost of reviewing the lot combination and reviewing and preparing related documents.

Martinson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

And the following voted against same: (Absent: Weir)
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
