, WHE�EP_S, pursuant to the proviaions of Divi�ion 4 0£ the
8treets.and "HigYiF,�ay� Cod_e, cited: as the '�SpeciaT Assessment.2nvesti-
gation Limitation and.P�tajorit;� Protest Act, of ia3i��, the Cit,y Council
oi the City of Lynwood�has determined tnat the impiovement of Agnes �
Avenue, as proposed in Resolution No..2313 of eald City ie feasible,
and that the public interest, convenience and neceasity require tne
- improvement aubstantially as set forth in �aid. report, and ,
, ialFiERFAS, said CiL'y Council has iound tl;at the lan�s �to
_.be asse�sed will be able�to stand the burden of the propoaed asaess-

NOW, THEREFORE, BE`IT`RESOL'JED by tne City Council of the
City of Lynwood:a.a foliows:. . , �
�Section l: Tnat in the opinion of the City Council of �
the Ci�y of_Lynwood_the public.interest and conver.ience require
and it is the inten�ion.oi said City Councii to order the follow-
ing work, or improvement, to be done, to-wit:
' The construction of cement cvrbs and cement concrete gutters '
, in nortions oi AGNES AV�NUE between a. line 150 feet weaterly of and
parallel to the nortnerly prolongation of the,westerly line of Bradfield..
Avenue and the eaeterly line oi Bullis Roac�, and
The conatruction of cenaent concrete guttera in portiona of
' BULLTS ROAD between the westerly prolongation oz the center line of
• Agnes Avenue and a line 5,5 feet southerly therefrom and parallel thereto.
. A11 of said work or improvement shall be performed in the
public ways'and 'beti�een the limits hereinbeiore desi�nsied except
`wrere tl�e plans indicate that saicl wor?i shall be omitted.
' That a2.11 of the work or,improvement afore�aid shall be
done and. performed in accordance with and to the gradea stiown on

Plens an� Specific�tiona D1o 1951-F-1 on file in the office of the
C1ty Clerk of said City, Said plans are hereby referre� to for a
iull and complete descrip�ion of said propoaed work and for the
,� �rades to which the work ia to be done and eaid plana and specifi-
cations are by reference made a part hereof and shall govern for all
details of the proposed work.
That the total estimated cost of eaid work'or improver.ient
is the sum oi One Thousand and Twenty-five Dollars (�1,025.00).
Section 2: Tha.t eaid contemplated work or improvement, in
the opinion of said City Council is of more �han local or.ordinary
., public benefit, and said City Council hereby determiriea and declares
that the district to be benefited by eaid work, or improvement, and
to�be aasessed to pay the costa and expenses of sti�ch vrork or improve-
° ment, is shown on Plan i�o 1951-F-2 on iile in the office of the City
Clerk oz said City to which reference is nereby ma�e for a full and
' complete d.eseription of the asseesment district.
Section 3: The City Couneil hereby determines and declarea
that serial bond.s shall be issued in the manner and.form provided in
Division 7 oi the-Streets and Highways Code cited ae the "Improvement
, ��ct of 1911", as amen�e�,,bearing intereat at the ra.te of six per cent
per annum to represent eac� assessment of Twenty-five DollarB (�25,00)
,
or over, remaining vnpaid for thirty days after the date.of the warrant;
said aerial bonds shall ex_tend over a period ending nine yeara from the
second d.ay of January next succeeding the next October fifteenth�fallow-
ing their date. Said bonds and. interest thereon sna11 be paid at the
office o£ the City Trea4urer a.nd the same ahall,.be disbursed by him,
all as provided in tne saio_ °Improvement Aet of 1911°, as amended.
� S.ection �'; DTotice ia hereby given that the provisiona o£
that certain act of.the Legialature of the State of California desig-
nated as the Streets and Highway� Code Division 4, cited as the
, °5pecial Assess�ent Inueeti�ation Limitation and bia�ority Protest
Act of 1931" as.amended, h�ve neretofore been fully complied with

and all the reports required under the provisions of said Act are on
file in the office of the City Clerk of said City', open �o public
inspection, and may,there be examined by all interested persona.

_ provement,�shall be taken under an Aet of the Legielature of the State
of California desig.ated.as Streete a.nd Highway"s Code, Division 7
cited a:s the "Improvement Act of 1911'�, and amendmente tnereto.
Section 6: The City Engineer is hereby directed to make.a
diagram of the property affected or benefited by saia proposed work or
improvement as described herein and to b�e assessed to pay the costa
� and expenses of said_ work, showing each separate lot, place�or parcel
- of land and the_dimenaions of each such lot, piece or narcel of land
and the relative location of the same to the.taork, or improvement, pro-�
posed to be done, all krithin the Iimits of aa.id asse�sment district.
' : Seetion '�: The�City �ngineer,•who is the Svperintendent
of Streete, is hereby directed to,post notices of the.passage of this
. Resolution in the time, form, and mafiner required bv law,
_ Section 8: Notice is hereby given that ori Tue'sday, the
19tn day of.June, 19�1, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m,, at the Coun-
cil CYiamber`s in-the City $all, 11331 Plaza Street,'in the City of
Lynwood, any and all persons having'any ob3ections or protests to
said pr,oposed work or improvement,, or�to the ettent of the district
to be assesaed or to ths grades to i�rhich the work is proposed to be
done, may,appear before said City Council and;show cause why.said ,
proposed k�ork, or improvement'should not be carried out in accordance
vaith thie Resolution, , , '
Section 9: The City Clerk sha1T certify to the passage of
. this Reso]_ution by the City Couneil of sa.id City of Lynvaood 'and 'cause
tYie same to be published t?�rice in tne Lynwood Press, a weekly news- '
pt�per published and circulated in said City and hereby designated by

said City Council for the purposes aforesaid.' Said Clerk is also

: Intention in the time, iorm, an� manner, and to the persons, all
as provided in said °.Improvement Act of 1911°, as amended.
