A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD CONr^IRMING REPORT OF THE $THEET SUPER-
INTENDENT RELATIVE TO WEID ABATEMENT FOR THE
1951-5z Y�.
[�iHEREAB, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, on
the 20th day of February, 1951, adopted its Resolution No�. 2305
relating to the abatement of d.ry or drying Ureeda on certain ],ots
or parcela of land within the corporate limlts of said city in
accoraance with the provieiona of Chapter 13, Article 3, Section ,
3956o and following sectiona, Gov.ernment Code, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, a full and complete hearing was held on eaid
Resolution in the time, form and manner required by law and the
Street Superintendent was inatructed to complete the abatement of
euch nuieance, a.nd
ti�I-IEREAS, the 8treet Superintendent has cauaed such
nuisance to be abated and has filed with the City Council an itemized
r.eport in writing ahowing the coat of weed abatement on each separate
lot and has caused a copy thereof toebe poeted near the.door of the
. Council Chamber in the City Hall ae required by lata, and
P7HEREAS, no ob,jections or proteata were filed by any of the
property ownera to be assesaed.for said weed abatement as aet forth
in the Report of the Street Superintendent, and �
S+IHEREAB, it appears that all notices were properly poated
and that the proceedings were had and taken according to law,
N0��1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that said report of the 3treet Superintendent of the
City of Lynwood be, and the eame is hereby confirmed and that the
costs of abating auch nuisances on each of the lots or parcels of
land aet forth in said report do hereby conetitute special asseas-

ment liena againet euch propertiee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVID, that the City Clerk of the City
of Lynwood be and 'ne is hereby directed to turn over to the Tax
Collector of the County of Los Angeles a copy oP the report of tne
Street Superintendent and eaid iax Collector is hereby instructed
to add the amounte of the respective assesamenta to the regular
bills for taxea covering the 1951-52 fiecal year on the lots
described in said report, all as provided in aforesaid Government
Code.
ADOPTED �nd APPROVED this 6th day of June, 1951.
