SN TAE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED 2MPROVEMENT OF
AGNES AVENUE, BY THE CONSTRUCTIUId OF CURBB
AND GUTTER3.
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS AND DETERMIN-
ING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAS ACQUIRED JURIS-
DICTION TO ORUER THE PROPOSED ti�JORK OR IMPROVE-
MENT.
WHEREAB, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 15th da.y of May, 1951, adopt ite Resolution of Intention D1o 2333
ordering the improvement of Agnea Avenue and other streets by the
conatruction of cement concrete curbe, and cement concrete gutters, and
WHEREAS, Tuesday, the 19th day of June, 1951, at the hour of
8:00 o'clock p.m, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in said
Gity of Lynwood, was the time and place set in eaid Reaolution of
Intention when and where any ob3ectiona to the propoeed Uaork or im-
provement, or to the extent of the district to be asaesaed, or to the
gradea to which the work was proposed to be done, would be heard by
said City Council; and
�9HEREA3, the City Clerk of said City hae heretofore presented
and filed an af.fidavit of publication of said Reeolution o£ Intention,
showing that the eame was.publiehed according to law; and
➢�HER�AS, said City.Clerk has also preaented and filed his
affidavit of mailing noticea of the adoption of said Reaolution of
Intention in the time, form, and manner, and to the persona, all ae
, provided by an Act of the Legialature of the 8tate of California, �
deaignated ae Division 7 of the Streete and Highways Code, and cited
aa the "Improvement Act of 1911", and amendnents thereto, and
ti4fiEREAB, the City Engineer-8uperintendent of Streete hae
heretofore presented and filed an afPidavit ehowing that noticea of
the paseage of said Reaolution of Intention have been poeted in the
manner provided by said Act; and
WHEREAB, at said hearing held on the 19th day of June, 1951,
� no protests were filed againet any of the thinga propoeed to be
