CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.2011-49 ADOPTING A SHARED EQUIPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITIES OF CORCORAN, GREENFIELD, INDEPENDENCE, LORETTO, MAPLE PLAIN, MEDINA AND ROCKFORD WHEREAS, the City of Medina desires to be able to share equipment and personnel with its close neighboring cities; and WHEREAS, the City has been working together with other cities on a Shared Equipment Agreement for an extended period of time; and WHEREAS, the Agreement has the potential to save on equipment purchased and allow the City to have extra personnel on hand for specific jobs when necessary, WHEREAS, the Agreement will ensure that when the cities work together and share equipment, everyone understands who is responsible for the equipment and personnel involved; and WHEREAS, the Agreement will ensure that when there is a leadership change in any one of the cities, the Agreement will already be•in place; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Medina agrees to adopt a Shared Equipment Agreement between the cities of Corcoran, Greenfield, Independence, Loretto, Maple Plain, Medina and Rockford.
