Seton Lindsay N. J. Clarke S. B. Iglehart Harold J. Roig Wm. J. Bauer also attending Mr. Martin F. Tiernan and Mr. Henry V. Pope Mayor Commissioner L.Seton Lindsay presiding and Commissioner Wm.J.Bauer acting as Secretary. The minutes of a Special Meeting held on March 16th,1954 were read and approved as well as the Regular Meeting held on March 16th, 1954 adjourned from Mar ch 13th,1954. The Commissioners unanimously approved payment of accounts by checks #1537 to 1565 inclusive. Bank Balances as of April 10th,1954 were reported as follows: General Account Water Department Depreciation Reserve 9,991.10 3,17$.49 2,572.36 Mr. N.J.Clarke introduced Mr. M.F.Tiernan of Wallace & Tiernan Co., who explained features of the present Chlorination System man- ufactured by Wallace & Tiernan Company. Commissioner Bauer reported that water used by property owners during the month of March was as follows: As recorded by Master Meter 3,202,900 gallons it " ft Individual Meters 2,9£2,000 It Water Sales on Individual 11 $ 701.30 Costs as per Master it 384.24 Following discussion, the Commissioners unanimously voted, that they were in principle in favor of a 10 mill tax if necessary, on the forth coming budget. This matter to be decided and voted upon when definite tax roll and budget have been presented to the Commission. A discussion was held on retaining W.Bruce Wheeler for night patrol at the rate of $250.00 per month, until April 30th,1954. If this meets with the approval of W. Bruce Wheeler, Town Policeman, it w as unan- imously voted that he continue to be engaged at $250.00 per month to April 30th,1954 and from teh on at the rpte of $50.00 per month as previously engaged.
