A GENERAL ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 91 OF THE RICHMOND CODE REGARDING ANIMAL CONTROL
WHEREAS, Common Council recently amended Chapter 91 of the Richmond Code to require
removal of pet excrement (Ordinance No. 64-1998); and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend Richmond Code to exempt persons in wheelchairs from
said removal requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond that Section 91.045(d) of City of Richmond Code be amended to read as follows:
(d) The provisions of this section shall not apply to a blind person working with a guide dog or to a handicapped person utilizing a wheelchair.
Passed and adopted this 8th day of September, 1998, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
