RESOLU''i'ION OV�RRULING PROTESiS IN CONDtECTION
WITH 'PH�; HEARING ON DEBT LIM2TATION,

LIHEREAS, the City Council of the City of LynUtood did,
on the 3rd day of July, 1951, a.porove an Investigation �eport
under,the proviaions of the Streets and Hightiaays Gode, Diviaion
�, cited. as ��Special Assessment Investiga.tion and Majorit,y Proteat
Act of 1931", upon the proposed improvement of certain portiona of
Flower Street by the removal and disposal of exiating curbs and
driveways and the construction of concrete curbs, cement
concrete sidewalka, cement concrete driveways and plant-mixed
gutters ae ahown on P1an No 1951-L on file in the office of the
.Cit,y Clerk of said Cit,y, and
WHEREAS, said Report having be'en duly prepared and filed,
a hearing �aas held. thereon by said C�ity Gouncil on the 21at-day of
Au�ust, 1951 in the time, form and manner provided in said Act
` above referred to;
NOW, THEREFCRE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby sesolve as follows:
(1) That the proteats made at said hearing on eaid
, inveatigation report be, and the same are hereby overruled;
(2) That the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the doing and making o� the public improvement set forth
and described in said report above referred to and substantially
in the manner therein aet forth;
�3) That the pro,ject, consiating of the pronoaed improve-
ment above referred to, is feasible;
� (4) That the estimated total amount proposed to be
a.ssesaed upon any or all lots or parcels of land for the costs
and expenses of said proposed. improcement does not exceed the
limitation of indebtednese establiahed and set Porth in said Act
above referred to and will not, by the levy thereof, cauae said
limitation to be exeeeded in any instance;

(5) That no ma,jority protest in writing has been filed
by the ownera of property proposed to be aesessed to pay the costs
. and expensea of eaid propoaed improvement or any part thereof, in
the manner provided in said Act above referred to;
(6) That it ie hereby ordered that the proceedinge for
the making of eaid propoaed improvement be undertaken pursuant to
the proviaiona of an Act of the Legislature of the State of Ca1i-
fornia designated as the Streeta and. Highways Code, Division 7,
, cited as �'Improvement Act of 1911", and amendments thereto.
APPROVID and ADOPTED this 21at day of August, 1951.
