THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAS ACQUIRED JURIBDICTION

1,rHEREAS, the'City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 2nd day of October, 1951, adopt its Resolution of Intention
No. 2370 ordering the improvement of PEACH STREET by the conetruc-
tion of sanitary se�,*ers and appurtena.nt trork, and
WFiEREA3, Tuesdav, the 6th da.y of Dlovember, 1951, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m, at tne Council Chambera in the Gity Hall,

- in said City of Lynwood, tiaas the tiine an� nlace set in said Resolu-
tion oP Intention when �nd where any ob,jections to the proposed vrork
or improvement, or to the e�tent of the dietrict to be asseseed, or•
to the grades to tahich the work ti•ras propoaed_ to be done, Urould be
� heard by said City Council; and
WHE�EAS, the City Clerk of said: Cit,y has heretofore
presented and filed an a£fidavit of publication of said Resolution
, of Intention, shoti�ring that the same was published according to law;
and
VdHEREAS, said City Clerk has also preaented and filed. his
affidavit of mailing notice3 of tlie adoptlon of said Reeolution of
Intention in the time, form, and manner, and to the peraons, all as
provided by an Act of the Legialature of the State of Ca,liPornia,
desi�nated as Diviaion 7 of the Streeta and Highwaye Code, and cited
as the �'Improvement Act of 1911°; and.amendments thereto, and
WHEREA3, the City EYigineer-Superintendent of Btreets has
heretofore presented and filed. an affidavit showing that noticea o�'
the passage of eaid Resolution of Intention have been posted in the
manner provided by said Aet; and
?�iEREAS, at said hearing neld on ttze 6th day of Novernber,
- 1951, 2 proteste were filed againet any of the tnings proposed
