Be it resolved by the City Covncil of the City of Lynwood,
as follows:
PlHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Citq Council
oY the City of Lynurood, by evidence o£fered in that behalf, that on certaia
lots of land ia said City there eaists dry and drying weeds which dry and dry3ng
grass on such lota cause's great damages to houses a.nd structures in said Lynwood
from fire and constitutes a public xniisance, and that such public miisance
should at once be abated piusur�nt to Cha�r 13, Article 3. Section 39560 and
following Sectione� Government Code, State of Galifornia; and
WHEREA3, the lota of land npon which such public miisance

each of said lote to be a.public miisance, and it is hereby ordered that such
m�.isance be abated under the terms of that certain Act of the T,egislature o£
the St2te o£ California above mentioned� as amended, and. the Street Superintendent
o£ the City o£ Lynwood is direated to cauae notices to be given and posted which
2se neceasax�j to be given a.nd posted as required by said Act� and this Council
hereby fixes the 7th day of March, 1950, at 8:00 o�clock p.m. at the Caancil
�ha.mber of the City Conncil o£ said City� Zocated at 11331 Plaza. Street, in said
City of Lynwood, as the time and ulace of hearing all protests to the abateaent
o£ said miisances which may be made in the premises.
