DIRECTIrIG THE STREET BUPERINTENDENT TO ABATE THE
WEED NUISANCE TFv9T EXI3TS OAI VACANT LOTS IN THE
CITY OF LYNtd00D.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lym�ood,
as followe:
tJHEREAB, the Gity Council of the City of Lyn�rood, California
did, on the 7th day of February, 1950, adopt Reaolution No. 2261 re-
lating to the abatement oP dry and'drying,weeds on certain lota in the
City of Lynwood, and
WHERF�B, due notice vras given to deatroy such weeds by post-
ing "Notice to Deatroy Weede" noticea at not more than.10.0 feet in die-
tan ce apart as required by law, and
WHEREAB, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of pro-
teats and ob,�ectiona to said matter, a hearing was duly held and no
written or oral ob,�ectione were made, either in vrriting or orally, to
the doing of said work, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has con-
sidered all of the facta and is fully informed in the matter; that they
have acquired �urisdiction to proceed and perform the work of removal

of eaid nuisancea,
NOL9, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Street Superinten-
dent of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby inatructed to abate the
nuisances described in said Reaolution No. 2261 by having the r�*eeds re-
ferred to removed, and he and hia assiatante are hereby expresaly auth-
orized to enter upon private property for that purpose:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property ownera.ahall have
the right to have any such weed nuisance removed and abated at his oson
,^ expense, provided such work is done prior to the time the work ie done

�� by the Street Superintendent. If the work ie,done by the property
`_ oi�rner, n'o charge shall be made by the City of Lynwood.
