RESOLUTION OE THE CITY COIINCIL OF Tf� CITY OF LYNNlOOD,
CALIF0.R2SlA, GIVING NOTICE'OF PROPOSED ANNEXATIOU OF
CEETAIN POFtTIONS OF BULLIS ROAD.

City Council o£ the City o£ I�ynwood hereby initiates proceedings Yor the annexa,tion
o£ certain por�ions of Bnllis Road lving within the folloiaing described lines:
Beginning at a point on the westerly prolongation
of the southerly line of Tract No. 15325 as ner map
recorded in Book 338, Page 30 of Maps, Records of �
I,os Angeles County, C�lifornia, distant thereon
2$ £eet easterly from the westerly line of Bullis
Road, said point being on the southerl,p baundary I
line of the City of Lynwood as said botuulary eaisted . i
' 9pri1 1� i9So thence westerly along said boundary
line and £ollowing the same in all its various courses
to the southeasterly corner of I,ot 982 of Tract No.
3172 as per map recorded in Book 32,.Page 90 of Maps,
Records of said county; thence easterly along the
easterly prolongation of the southerly line of said
I,ot 982 to the center line o£ Bullis Road as shown
on map of said Tract No. 31�2;,thence northerly in
, . a direct line to the point of beginning; and
{�REAS, said territory is uninkiabited, unincorporated territory
contiguous to the City of Lyniaood, and
WHEREAS, the a.nnexation of said territory is necessary to eliminate
jurisdictiona,l dif£iculties betweett the cities of I,ynwood and Compton �.nd the County
of Los Angeles particularly in the administration of law enforcenent;
NOW, 1dE�iEFORE BE IT RESOI,4ID: -
Section 1: That pursua.nt to the annexation of the °Unin}�abited
, Territory Act of 1g39�� the City CoUncil of the City of Lynwood hereby gives notice
of said proposed annesation.
Section 2: Said territory is hereby designated for identi£ication
as °Bu11is Road Annez No. 1.P •
Section 'i: Said City Cov.ncil hereby gives notice of and fixes the
2nd day of Ma,y, 19$0, at the hour of 8 o�clock p.m. in the Council Chambers in the
City Hall� 11331 Plaza Street, Lym•�ood, Cali£ornia, as the day, honr, and p].ace
when and where ax�}* person owning real property within such territory so proposed
to be anne�oed and having a�y ob3ections to the proposed annesation may appear

Section 4: The City Clerk is nes•eby directed to cause a copyof
this resolution to be published once a week for two successive weeks prior to said
hearing, in the Lynwood Prese, a newspaper o£ general circulation, published in .
said City o£ Ztynwood.

resnlution.
