Be St resolved by t13e Gity Co,uncil of the Gi.ty of Lyntloofl as fo2lotias: � WfiEREAS, the General hlunicioal Election was held and con-_ ducted in the City of Lynwood, State of Californi�., on the llth day of Aoril, 1950, as required by law, and t4FtEREAB, it appeara that Ivotice of said Election �rae dul.y . and legally given, that voting precincts were properly established, that election ofPi cera taere appointed an�. election aupplies furnished, that sample ballota vrere mailed to �,11 q_ualified registered voters in- the City of Lymrood, together with a copy of the proposed ordinance, that polling place cards were mailed to �11 registered voters and that - in all resbeets said election tieas held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, and the returna thereof made and declared in time, form, and manner a3 required by the General Lawa of the State of,California governing elections in cities of the Fifth and Sixth Class, and in further co�pliance with the �'olitical Code.of said State, and a11 the laws pertaining thereto, and ' SJfiERF.AB, the City G�uncil of the Gity of Lynwood met at the Council Chamber of the City Hall on Tuesday, the 18th day of Apri1, 1950, to canvass the returns of said election and install the newly elected officers, and to canvass the returns of the propositions sub- mitted to�the.qualif ied regiatered electors, as a reault of which the Council finds that tne nunber of votea cast, the names of tne persons voted for, the nropoeitions voted on and other matters required by law, to be as hereinafter etated.
