AiYNE]CATION OF '1'AAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN 7�
; COUNTY OF I,OS APIGELES LYING WESTEkI,Y OF THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY F'LOOD CONTROL CHAlaTEL.
WIi�EAS, pursuant to the °Annexation o£ Uninhabited Territoxg Act
of 1939,�� there has been presented to the City Council of the City of 7,ynwood�
California� a petition reqnesting the anne�tion o£ certain properties lying easterly
o£ Atlantic Aveuue, southerly o£ Imperial FIighway�.and westerly of the Los Angeles
County Flood Control Cha.nnel, said properties being more pa�ticularly de�cribed
as £ollows: .
Beginning at the northeast cornor of Lot 21 of
Tract PIo. �q84 as shown on map recorded in Book 90,
Pagea 34 and 3,5 of Maps, Records of I,os Angeles County,
California, said point being on the easterly boundary
line of the City of 7{ynwood as said baundarf line
existed April 1, i950 thence easterly along the southex+-
ly line of Imperial High��ay to the produced easterly
line of Duncan Avemie, 60 £eet wide, as said Duncan
Avernze exists southerly o£ Innerial Highway; thence
southerly to the southwest corner of I,ot 10, Tract
10587 as sho4rn on map recorded in Book 162, Pages 2�
, and 28 0£ P�a,ps, records of said county, said point
being on the nori;herly line of the first alley southerly
of Imperial Hi;;htaay; thence easterly alos�, said last
described line and�ita easterly prolongation to the
easterly line of Wright Road� 50 feet wide; t�ence
southerl; along �aid easterly line of Wright oad to
the no:therly line of Century Boulevard, 50 feet wide;
thence easterlv along said last described line to
its intersection mith a line 208 feot westerly of and
parallel to the westerl� line of the I,os Angeles County
Flood Control Channel, said distance being measured
alone the southerly line o£ Century Boulevard; thence
southerly along said last described line to the northerly

WI�REA3, said territory is uninhabited, unincorporated territory
cont9.guous to the City of I�ynwood, and
WTiEREAS, said petition is signed by the owtters of not less than
one-£ourth of the area of land in sucn territory and representing not less tha.n
one-fourth of the assessed qalue of such territory according to the last preceding
equa.l3zed assessment roll o£ the County of Los Angeles, State of California, ia
which such territory is situated;

Section lt That uurauant to the °Annesa.tion of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939�� the City Council of the City of Lyntvood hereby gives notice
of•said pxopoced annexation. �
Section 2: Said territory is hereby designated for identi£ication
as �� Wright Road Annex No. 3.°
Section 3i Said Citq Cauncil hereby gives notice o£ and figes
the 16th da.y o£ May, 1950, at the hour o£ 8 o�clock p.m. in the Couttcil Chambers
in the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, Lym•rood, California, as the day� hour, and
place when and where a�y person owning real roropertj* within such territory ,o nro--
posed to be annexed and having a,�y ob�ections to the proposed annexation may appear
before the City Council of said Citv of Lynwood and show canse wi�y such territory
ehould not be so annexed. �
Section 4; The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a cony
of this resolution to be publisned once a r�eek £or two cuccessive vreak�,prior
to said hearing, in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper o£ general circulation, publish-
. ed in said C3ty of I,ynrvood.
Section 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
