AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE 2005-2006
BUDGET OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY RECLASSIFYING POSITIONS
WITHIN THE DEPARTMENTS OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, LAW, AND FINANCE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2005-2006 Budget of the City of Jefferson, Missouri is hereby amended
by changing the personnel schedule by the reclassification of full time positions within the
Departments of Community Development, Law, and Finance as outlined in Section 2 of this
ordinance.
Section 2. Within the Department of Finance,the position of Administrative Technician,
Pay Range 10 ($25,971.43 - $38,957.14) is hereby reclassified to Administrative Assistant,
Pay Range 12 ($28,633.50 - $42,950.25); the position of Accounting Assistant, Pay Range
10($25,971.43-$38.957.14)is hereby reclassified to Accounting Technician, Pay Range 12
($28,633.50 - $42.950.25); and the position of Purchasing Assistant, Pay Range 10
($25,971.43-$36,957.14) is hereby reclassified to Pay Range 12 ($28,633.50-$42.950.25).
Within the Law Department, the position of Administrative Assistant, Pay Range 12
($28,633.50 - $42,950.25) is hereby reclassified to Paralegal, Pay Range 14 ($31,568.44 -
• $47,352.65). Within the Department of Community Development,the positions of Secretary,
Pay Range 9 ($24,734.70 - $37,102.04) is hereby reclassified to Administrative Technician,
Pay Range 10($25,971.43-$38.957.14);and an Animal Control Officer position, Pay Range
10 ($25,971.43 - $38,957.14) is hereby reclassified to Senior Animal Control Officer, Pay
Range 11 ($27,270.00 - $40,905.00)
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
