RESOLUTION P40DIFYI'rIG RESOLUTIOPt N0 1683 OF THE
CITY OF LYNl900D.,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynit�ood has hereto-
Yore, on the 6th day of June, 19��+ accepted the offer of Elmer Luther
and Iyire. Virginia Luther, husband and wife as �oint tenants, for the
purchase of all of the right, title, and interest of the City of Lyn-
wood in and to certain lands lying within eaid City, to-:•:it:
Lota 1 and 2, Block 19, P4od,�eska Park, and Lot 17,
Block 15, Mod�eska Park as per map recorded in
Book 9, pages 1U�2 and 1�3 of :•4aps, Records of Los
Angeles County, California, and
WHEREAB, aforesaid Mra. Virginia Luther is now deceased, and
WHEREAS, said deed of conveyance hae not been executed and
said City of Lynwood has received full conaideration as set forth in
Resolution No 1683 and
WHEREAS, said Elmer Luther has requeated the aforementioned
deed be isaued to Elmer [V. Luther, a widower,
NOTa, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Lynt�rood ia hereby authorized and di"rected to execute a deed oP convey-
ance of certain 13nd hereinbefore described, conveying the same as
above specified to Elmer W, Luther, a widower, on behalf oY the said
City of Lynwood, and that the City Clerk oi' sald City ia hereby auth-
ori2ed to attest said d.eed and to affix the City 8ea1 of the Gity of
Lynsaood thereto, on behalf of the said City of Lynwood. .
