RESOLUTIQN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LXM+l00D, CALIFOFtP1IA, GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED
AIJi:EXATIOTQ OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES LYING 80UTKERLY OF CARLIN

t+TffEREAB, pursuant to the °Annexation of lininhabited Terri-
, tory Act ot' 1939," there has been presented to the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, Callfornia, petition dated May 16, 1950, executed by
Herman Yaffe, requestin� the annexation of certain property lying
southerly of Carlin Avenue.an& easterly of Bullia �oad in the County
of Los �ngeles, State of California, and lying vaithin the following
descri l�d linea:
That portion of Lot 7 of J. J. Bullis Tract as per map
recorded in Book 3, Pagea 612 and 613 oY Misoellaneous
Recorda oP Los Angelea County, California, described
as follows: Beginnin� at the intersection oP the weat-
erly line of Caress Street (40' wide) with the norther-
ly line oY Carlin Avenue (33� wide) said point being on
the southerly boundary line oP the City of Lynwood as
said boundary line existed Nay 16, 1950; thence weater-
� ly said boundary line and following the same in
all its various couraea, to the northerly line oP Tract
, No 11991 as ahown on P3a.p recorded in Book 283, Pages
, 26 to 32 inclusive, oP r�Iaps, Records of said County;
thence easterly along said last described line to the
' westerly line of Careas Street (50� wide); thence nor- .
therly along said r,aeat�erly line of Careas Street to the
point of beginning.
L�fiEREAS, eaid territory ia uninhabited, unincorporated
territory contiguous to the City of Lynv�ood, and
� Wf:EREAS, said petition is aigned by the owners of not less
than one-fourth oP the area of land in such territory and representing
not less than one-fourth of the assessed value of sucn territory
, aocording to the last preceding equalized asaessment roll oP the County
of Los Angelea, State of California, in Umicn such territory is situated,
NOtid, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: Tnat ourauant to the ��Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of �939" the City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby
gives notice of said proposed annexation.
Seetion 2: Said terri.tory is hereby deaignated for identi-
fication as pOzell Pdanor, Annex No. 3°.

Section 3: Said City'Councii hereby gives notice of and `.
fixes the 20th day of June, 1950, at the houx of 8:00 n. m, in the
Gouncil Ghambera in the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, Lymaood, Calif-
ornia, as the day, hour, and place when and where any person owning
real property within such territory so proposed to be annexed and
haning any ob�ectiona to the,proposed annexation maq appear before
� the City Council of said City of Lynwood and ehow cause why such
territory should not be so annexed:
5ection 4: The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a
copy of this resolution to be published once a week for two auccessive
weeks prior to said hearing, in the Lynwood Press, a,newapaper of
general circulation, published in said City of Lynwood.
Section 5: 1'he City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
