A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUIQCIL OF THE CITY OF
' LYiQW00D CHAI�lGING '?"dE NAFdEH OF CERTAIN STREETS
;"iITHIN TH�' CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the�City Council of the City of Lynwood,
as folloi�rs:
Section l: That the name of Caress Street extending from.
Century Boulevard to the southerly line of the Pacific Electric Railway
Cou�pany's private right of way is hereby changed and established as
HARRIS AVENUE.
Section 2; Th the n�me of Locust Street er.tending from
Century Boulevard to Los Flores Boulevard is hereby ohanged and estab-
lished as HARRIS AV �VUE.
Section 3: That the name of Ea.st Lynizood Circle extending
from Josephine Street to Louise Street is hereby cl��nged and established
as THORSOId AVENUE.
Section 4: Th2t the name of Ea.st Lynwood Drive extending from
the north roadv.�a.y of Ferncrood Avenue to i,�orton Road is hereby changed
and established a.s THC;R50N AVENUE.
Sect3on 5: That the name of Irvington Drive extencling from
Shirley Avenue to Alberta Avenue is hereby changed and established as
TI�ORSODI AVENUE.
Section 6: That the name of �4orton Road extending from the
most westerly road�va;� of Bullis Road to the easterly boundary of the City
of Lynwood is hereb,y changed and establisYied as CORTLAiVD STREET.
bE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk shall transmit a
�uly csrtified and autnenticated co�y o� this P.esolution to the County
Surveyor of Los Angeles County, California, and to any other governmental
agency�requiring• names and designations of Streets and Avenues upon
official ma.ps and recor3s of the County. _.
