SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF APRIL 11, 2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file 'the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of April 11, 2018.
BACKGROUND:
On April 11, 2018 the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the April 11, 2018, meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Kwan , Nimri, Palmieri , Vice-Chairman Clift,
Chairman Blatt
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused: Commissioner-None
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the March 14, 2018 meeting.

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held seven hearings in person. One citation was upheld, five
citations were dismissed and one citation was withdrawn at the request of the
appellant.
The Commission held one hearing by written declaration. One citation was upheld.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2017-18 City Budget.
