Act of 1939 there has been presented to the City Coancil of the City of
Lynwood, California, a petition dated September lsth, 194�j, eaecuted by '
Fred N�yers and Mary A. Myers requesting the anne�.tion o£ certain property
lying easterly o£ Atlantic Avemie northerly of the Pacific Electric
R�,ilway Compa�y�s private ri�at-of—way in the County of I,os Angeles, State
of California, and. lyin� within the following described exterior boundary line
to—wit:
Beginaing at the southeast corner of Lot 14 of Tract
No. 5818 as shown on map recorded in Book 140, Page
43 oP Maps, Records of Los Angeles Covnty, California,
said point being on the easterly boundary line of the ,
` City of I+ymaood as said boundary line existed September
20, 194q; thenca easterly along the southerly line of
said Tract 140. 5818 and its easterly prolongation to '
the easterly line of Wright Road; thence southerly
along said easterly line o£ Wri�t Roa.d to its inter—
section with a line 50 feet.northerly of, measnred at
right anglea to, the northerly line of the Pacific
Electric Railway Conpany�s Private Right—of—Way; thence
westerlg along said last described parallel line to �
aforementioned easterly boundary line of the City oY
Lynwood; thence northerly along said boundary line to
the point o£ beginning.

conti�naous to the City o£ I,ynwood; and '
- WF�REAS, said petition is signed by the oumers of not less than
ona—fourth o£ the area of land in such territory and representing not less
than one—faurth of the assessed value of such territory acco:•ding to the
last preced3ng eqvalized assessment roll of the County of Los 1ingelea, Sta.te
of California, in which said tarritory is sitva,ted; I
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLPED: " I
SECTION 1: That purauant to the provisions of the °Unin2�abited
Territory dct of i939." the City Council of the City of I,ynwood hereby gives
notice o£ said proposed awieaation.

SECTION 2: 5aid territory is hereby designated for identification
purposes as ��Wright Road 9nnex No. 2.�! -

such territory so proposed to be anneaed, and ha.ving ax�y objections to the
proposed annexation, �a.y appear before the City Council of said City of
Lynwood and show cause wby such territory ahould not be so annexed.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk is herebJ directed to cause a copy of
this Resolution to be published once a week for two successive weeks prior
to said heaxing in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation,
ttublished in said City of Lynwood.
