ENGINEER AND FI%ING TIME OF HEARING IN T&E
MATTER OF R� PROPOSID IMPROVENIEi�T OF
ORCEARD A4ENiTE .
The City Council o£ the City of I�ynwood does hareby resolve as
follows:
1^!F�]REAS, the report on the proposed improvement of Orchard Avenue
between Long Beach Boulevard and Bullis Road, ta-wit: The ramoval of exis�ing curbs,
driveivays and trees, and the, construction of cement concrete•curbs, cement concrete
driveways, and plant-mi$ed gutters, has been prepared by the City Engineer and
delivered to the City Council of the City o£ I,ynwood, as provided in Division 4 0£
the Streets and Highways Code, cited �.s the °Special Assessment Investiga.tion,
I,imii;ation, and Majority Protest Act ot' i93i" as amended, as directed by said City
� Council at its regnlar meeting held on September 20� 1949.
NOW Tf�REFORE BE IT RESOI,VP,D as £olloors:
1. That the City Cwncil of the City of Lynwood does hereby approve
said report and orders that said report be filed vrith the City Clerk.
� 2. Tkiat the City Council hereby £ixes the 15th day o£ November, 1949
at the hour of 8 o�clock p.m. in the Couttcil CYia.mbers in the City Hall. 11331 Plaza
Street in the City o£ I,ymaood, California, as the time, hour and place when and mhere
any and all persons interested may appear be£ore said City Council and be heard in
any matter to said report.
3, Tha.t the City Clerk is hereby ordered to give the notices ordered
in Section 2851 0£ said Streets and Highways Code referred to and cited as ��Special
Assessment Investigation';.I,imita.tion and A9ajority Protest Act of i931" to all persons
designated in said,Section 28$l.
