IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IN�ROVENlENT OF
8AN LUIS AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF SANI-
TARY 3E�VERS.
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS AND DETERMIN-
ING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL HAS ACQUIRED JURI3-
DICTION TO ORDER THE PROPOSED ti90RK OR IMPROVE-
MENT.
WHEREAB, the Gity Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 23rd day of 8eptember, 1949 adopt its Resolution oP Intention
No 2a35 ordering the improvement of San Luis Avenue, et al, by the
construction of aanitary sewera and appurtenant work, and
I4FiEREAB, Tuesday the 18th day of October,,1949, at the hour
� of 8:00 o�clock P. P4. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in
eaid City of Lyn�rood, was the time and place set in said Resolution of
Intention when and where any ob�ectiona to the propoaed work or improve-
ment, or to the extent of the district to be asaessed, or to the gradea
to which the work was propoaed to be done, would be heard by said City
Gounci�; and
krHEREAS, the City Clerk of said City hae heretofore presented
and filed an affidavit of publication of eaid Resolution of Intention,
showing that tYie eame was published according to law; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has also presented and filed his
affidavit of mailing notices of the adoption of eaid Resolution of
Intention in the time, form, and manner, and to the peraons, all as
provided by an Act of the Legislature the State of California, desig-
nated as Division 7 oP the Streets and Highways Code, and citeci as the
�'Itaprovement Act of 1911'�, and amendmenta thereto, and
{�f-IEREAS, the City Erigineer-Ouperintendent of Streete has
heretofore presented and filed an affidavit ehowing that noticea oP
the passage of said Recolution of Intention have been posted in the
manner provided by said Act; and ,
WHEREAS, at said hearing held on the 18th da.y of October,
19�9 no protesta were filed againat any of the things proposed to be
