IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF
SAN LUIS AVEANE, ET AL, BY THE CONSTRUCTION
OF SANI7.'ARY SEVZERS.
RESOLUTIOIQ ORDERING THE 170RK AND DIREGTING
THE CIT`.'. CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE INVITING BIDS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood as
follows:
Section 1: In the opinion of said City Council, the public
interest and connenience require, and said City Council having abo,uired
,juriadiction so to do, the following work or improvement is hereby
ordered to be done, to-wit: the conetruction of sanitary sewers and
appurtenant r�rork in portions of the f irst alley easterly of Atlantic,
Cortland Avenue, San Luis A venue and the first alley northerly of I,
Imperial Highway.
Section 2: All of the work or improvement aPoresaid ahall
be done as contemplated in Resolution of Intention No 2Q35 of the City
Council of said City, to which reference is hereby made for further
particulars.
Section 3: Said propoaed�work, or improvement, in the opinion '
of said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public beneiit
and eaid City Council hereby determinea and deelares that the dis�rict
to be benefited by said work and improvenent, and to be asaesaed to
pay the entire coats and expensea thereof ia particularly deacribed in
Reaolution of Intention No. 2235. Reference is hereby made to said�
Resolution of Intention and to Plan No, 1949-K-2 Por further particulars
as to the extent of the asseser�ent diatrict.
Section 4: The proceedinga for the aforesaid work and improva--
a:ent shall be had and taken under an Act of the Legielature of the
State of California designated the Street and Highoaays Gode, Division
7, and cited as the "Iaprovee�ent Act of 1911", and amendments thereto.
Section �: i�he �ity,Council hereby determines and declarea
that aerial bonds shall be issued in the form and manner provided in
� said aforementioned Act, bearing intereat at the rate of six (6) per
centum per annum to repreeent each assessment of tarenty-Yive ��25•00)
or over, renaining unpaid for thirty days after the da.te of warrant,
' Said serial bonds shall extend over a period ending nine yeare from
the second day oP January next auccee@ing the next October lsth
following their date. Said bonda and interest thereon ahall be paid •
at the oPfice of the City Treasurer oP said City and shall be diaburaed
by hin, all ae provided in eaid Act.
section 6: The City Clerk ahall poat and cause to be pub-
lished a notice inviting sealed proposale or bide for doing the above
desoribed work or improvement in the time, f orm and manner required by
law.
