Tt� HE;ARING ON DEBT LIMI�PATION
BE IT RESOI,VED by.the City Council of the City o£ Lynwood, Ca.lifornia
as follows:
[�lIiFIRFAS, the Gity Council ox" the City of Lyncaood did, on the $th
day of October, 194-9, approve an.Investigation Reroort uxuler the provisions af the
Streets and Highorays Code, Division 4, cited ae °Special Assessnent Investigation
and M2jority Protest Act of 1931,��. unon the proposed improvenent o£ certain portions
of Orcha,rcl Avenue by the removal and diaposal of existing curbs �.nd driveways and the
construction of cement concrete curbs, cement concrete sidevralks, driverrays and
rolant—mixed gutters as shown on Plan i94�9—r? 1 on £ile in the office oi' the
City Clerk of said City, and
WF�REAS, said 8eport Y�aving been duly prepared and filed, a hearing
was held thereon by said_ City Council on the lsth day o�' November, 1949, in the
� time, form and manner provided in said Act a.bove referred to,
'� NOS'J, 'FSE;RE;FORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood_does
h.ereby resolve as follows:
(1) That the protests made at said hearing on said investigation
report be, and the same are hereby overruled; ,
_ (2) That the Iniblic interest, converience ard necessity
'- require the doing and makin� of the public i.mnrovement set forth and described in '
- seid Report above referred to and substantially in the manner therein set forth;
(3) Tha.t the project, consistinn of the pronosed improvement above
referred to,, is £easible;
: (4� That tha �timated total amount,vroposed to be assessed upon
any or all lots o: parcels of land for the costs and expenses oY said proposed
imorovement does not exceed the limitation of indebtedness established and set
£orth in said Act above,referred to and will not, by the levy thereo£, cause said
limitation,to be exceeded in as�y instance;
(5� That r.oana.jority protest in writing has been £iled by the
owners of oroperty'roroposed to be assessed to pay the cests and expenses of said
proposed improvement or any pa.rt thereof, in the manner arovided in said Act above
referred to; � . "

of said proposed improvement be unciertaken purauant to the provisions of an Act of
the.,Legislature of the State of CaliPoriii� designated as the Stieets and Highways
