k�REAS, the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood did;: in open
session on the lst day of November, 1949, publicly open, exaanine, and declare all ,
sealed propoeals or bids for the following work to be done and improvement to
be made in said City, to-r�it: All tY�at certain �•rork and improvement set forth
in Resolution oi Intention No. 2235 passed and adopted by said City Council on

the 20th day of Seutember, 194-9, which Resolution of Inten�ion is on file in �I
the o£fice of the City Clerk of said City �nd is herebg.referred to £or a I '
description of said lvork or improvament, the bovndaries of the district to be
assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said work and £or Purther particulars .
NOW, 'II�REFORE, BE IT RESOI,PF.D by said City Council tha,t it
reject, and it does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except the next
herein mentioned, and hereby avrards the contract for doing said t+rork or improvement
to tne loorest, regalar, responsible bidder, to-!+rit:• D. R. Cleveland
at the prices for said work or improvement named in their bid, which bid is on
file in the office of the City Clerx of said City, and hereby is referred to for
further particulars. '
The City Clerk o£ said City is hereby directed to publish notice
of this award tv�ice in the I,ynorood Press, a weekly newspaper published and circu-
�lated,in said City and hereby designated for that ournose by this City Council.
