RESOLUTION RE6�UESTING AI�I,OCATION OF STATE FUNDS

(Fxtra Session) as amended,, has aupropriated funds £or allotment to provida
` for fiiancial assistance to local agencie�, dePined therein ae counties�
cities and counties or cities, so that they may enga.ge in a large nublic
works nrogram in order to p:event and alleviate unemployment; a^17.
- VJHEF,F;AS, tne City of Lyn�aood desires to auply for a.n allotment of
State aid for the construction oi a public works project und.er said Act; and

allotment has been prepared and nresented to the City Covncil of the City,of
I,ynwood for consideration; and

ior paying that nortion of the cost of the project not requested a,s an
_ allotment fron the State;

Lynwood submits the aforesaid apnlication £or-State aid for t,he construction
of a public works project to the Director of Firance requestin� an allotment
of r�ineteen Thousand Dollars ($19,000.00) or an 211otment o£ such anount
as may be allotted "oy the State A1location Bozrd;
BE IT FUR�R RESOLVED that the.City Council of the City of Lyntrood
, hereb„r certifies that the total estin�te o£ the cost to be paid for the
construction of an Elevated Storage Tank, Plant ]So. 4,, for v�hich said city is
making t�e 2pplication under said 9ct, is Thirty—I?ine Thousand Nine Eundred
Dollars ($39,900.00),

directed to sign the herain mentioned'anplication of said city and to submit
the same to the State Director of Finance, togetner with the certified state—
ment of the total eatimated cost to be paid for construction of the project
herein mentioned, and suck other informa.tion as may be required; a,nd said
autnorized agent is further authorized and as represent�.tive of
said city to conduct a11 negotiations and conduct all arrangements with
either the State Allocation Board or the Director of Finance, including
reQUests for payiaent of the State�s share of the cost of the constx
o£ the aforementioned public vforks project. .
