AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO A PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH THE
MISSOURI HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION FOR KATY
TRAILHEAD PARK AS A PART OF THE JEFFERSON CITY GREENWAY SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, On January 11,2006,the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission
approved Project No. STP-3100(514) under the Transportation
Enhancement Funds Program; and
WHEREAS, This project is a part of the Jefferson City Greenway System Master Plan.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BYTHE COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayorand City Clerk are hereby authorized to enterinto a project
• agreement on behalf of the City of Jefferson Parks and Recreation Commission with the
Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission for the Katy Trailhead Park adjacent to
W.Capitol Avenue and Jefferson Street, and continuing on W. Main to the eastbound Hwy
54 Missouri Reiver Bridge designated as Project No. STP-3100(514).
Section 2.The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as the
agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
