Be it resolved by the City Council oP the City oY Lynwood
ae Pollowe:
.. Section 1: In the opinion oP said City Council, the public
interest and w nvenience require, and said City Couricil having acqufred
SuriadictLon so to do, the Pollowing work or improvement ie hereby
ordered to be done, to-*�rit: The removal oP certain existing improve-
ments incsluding treea, driveways, curbe, and sidewalka and the eon-
atruction of cement conorete curbs, and cement concrete drineways and
. aidewalks and plant-mixed gutters in certain portione of ORCHARD AVENUE
lying between the weaterly line of Bullis Road and a�line 140 feet
� eaeterlq oP and parallel to tlie easterly line of Long Beach Houlevard,

The construction of ceu�ent concrete curbs and cement concrete
� sidewalsa 3n portions of Bu11is Road lying between the easterly pro-
; longation of a line 10 feet northerly of and parallel to the northerly
' line of Orchard Avenue and the easterly prolongation of a line l0.feet
soutlaerly of and parallel to the aoutherly line of Orehard Avenue. �� `�

ahall be done as contemplated in Resolution oP Intention of

�° the City Couneil of the Gity oP Lynwood, to which reference is hereby
made for further particulars.
`� Section 3: Said proposed work, or improvement, in the opinion
of said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public benefit,
and said City Council hereby determines and deelares that the district
'to�be benefited by said work or improvement, and to be assessed to pay
tne entire eoata and expenaes thereof is particularly described in

Reaolution of Intention No. 2247. Reference is hereby made to afore-
mentioned resolution and to map of proposed assesament dietrict, Plan
No 1949-N-3 for further particulars ae to the estent oP the asaeas-
ment diatrict.
' Section 4: The proceedinga for the aforesaid work or im-
provement ahall be had and taken under an Act�oY the Legislature of
the State of CaliPornia deeignated.as the Streeta and Highways Code,
Divieion 7, and cited as the "Improvement Act of 1911", and amendmente
thereto.
Section 5: The City Council hereby determines and declaree
that eerial bonds shall be isaued in the forn and manner provided in
eaid aforementioned Act, bearing intereat at the rate oP six �6) per
centum per annum to represent each asaeasment oP twenty-five ��25.00)
dollare or over, remaining unpaid for thirty da.ys after the date oP the
warrant. Said eerial bonda ahall extend over a period ending nine
years Prom the second day of January next succeeding the next October
15th following their date. Said bonde and interest thereon ahall be
paid at the office oP the City Treasurer of said City and ahall be dis-
bu'rsed by him, all as provided in said Act.
Section 6: The City Clerk ahall post and cauae to be pub-
liahed a notice inviting aealed proposale or bids for doing the above
deacribed work or improvement in the time, Porm, and manner required by
