A RESOLU'T'ION OF THE CITY COliNQIL OF THE CITY OF
� LYNWOOD AWARDING CONTRACT FOR Z'FIE FURNI5HING OF
THE SERVICE DIECESSARY TO MAINTAIN AND ILLUNIINATE \!`

Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
as f ollowa 2
WHEREAS, the City Council oP the City oP Lynwood has hereto-
. fore, by proper proceedings had and taken, called for bida for the
furniahing of the service necessary to maintain �.nd illuminate atreet
' lights owned by the Southern California Ee?ison Company and for the
furnishing of electrical energy only for street ]:3.�hta owned by the
City of LynFrood, and
WHEREAS, due and legal advertisement has been given in the
premises calling for such bida, and
± WHEREAS, July 19 19µ9 v�ae the date on which such bids were
to be received, opened, and,publicly declared, and
WHEREAS, one bid only has been filed in the premises for

Company, which was the�only bid filed, and
WHEREAB, on July lg, 1949 the said City Council duly opened
the bids in said matter, to-k�it: The said bid of said Company, and
publicly,declared the same, and
: ti1HEREAS, the said Ci.ty Council deems said bid of aaid Gompany

to be a reasonable bid and ehould be accepted.
NOW, TfiEREFORE, the said bid of said Southern GaliPornia
Edison Compan;� is hereby accepted and the contract for said worlt as
cal.led for in said proceedinga, is hereby awarded to said Southern
California Edison Co�any, at the rates and in the manner specified
