RESOLUTION N0. 2225
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC3L OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD CONFIRMING REPORT OF THE STREET SUPERIN-
TENDENT RELATIVE TO WEED ABATEMENT FOR THE 194g-5p
YEAR.
WHEftEAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, on the
1$th da.y of March, 1949 adopted ite Resolution No. 2192,relating to
the abatement of dry or drying tiaeeda on certain lota or parcels oY
land within the corporate limita oP eaid City in accordance with the
provieiona of Act 51.97 of the Legislature of the State of California,
as amended, and
4�'hEREAB, a f ull and complete hearing was held on said
Reeolution in the time, form and manner required by law and the Street
Superintendent was instru eGed to complete the abatement of auch nuisance,
and .
l^THEREAS, the Street Superintendent has caused auch nuisance
to be abated and has filed with the City Council an itemized report
in writing showing the coet of weed abater�ent on each.separate lot and
has caused a copy thereof to be posted near the door of the Council
Chamber in the City Hall as required by law, an@
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held on said report and no
ob,�ectiona or proteata were filed by any oP the property otaners to be
assesoed for said weed abatement as set forth in the Report oP the
Street Superintendent, and
WHERF�AS, it appears that all noticea were properly poeted
and tY�at the proceedinga were had and taken according to law,
N044, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that eaid report of the Street Superintendent of the
City of Lynwood be, and the same ia hereby confirmed and that the
costs of abating auch nuisances on each of the lots or parcele of land
set forth in eaid report do hereby constitute special aseesament liene
againet auch propertiee.
BE IT FURTHER RE30LVED,,.that the City Clerk of the City of
__ LynUrood be and he is hereby d.irected to turn over to the Tax Collector

of the County of Los Angeles a copy of the report of the Street
Superintendent and said Ta.x Collector ie hereby inatructed to ad@ the
amounta of the respective as�essments to the regular billa for taxes
covering the 19�9-50 fiecal year on the lots described in eaid report,
a,ll as provided in Section 7 of said�Act 5197.
