RESOLU2'ION ENDORSING THE EXCLUSIOid OF THE LYNWOOD
SCHOQL DIBTRICT FRONi ThE COhiPTON UNION HIGH SCHOOL
DISTRICT AI�D SUB3E6;UENT FORMATION OF THE LYIQWOOD
HIGH SCHOOL DISTRZCT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
, WHEREA3, a group of citi2ens have caueed to be circulated
petitions'for the Pormation oP a Lynk�ood High Sch�ol District in the
Gity of Lynwood, and
WHEREA3, the many aignatures rre evidencing the support
of the community in the plan,
NOW, TFiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City oP Lynurood hereby endorsea the plan of forming a LynHrood
High School District and urgea th��.t the matter be brought to a vote
of the people ae soon as possible.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be instructed
to forrrard cavies of this Resolution to the California State Board
of Education, County Superintendent oP Schools, Board of Trusteee
of the Lynu?ood Elementary 3chool Distri.ct, 13oa.rd of Trustees, Compton
Union Secondary School Diatrict ancl to Frank McCall, Superintendent
of Schools, Lynwood..
