RESOLUTION N0. 2231
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IAI GONNECTION
WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIMITATION FOR THE
PROPOSED Ib'II'ROVEMENT OF SSN LUIS AVENUE, ET AL.
WHEREAB, the City Council of the 0ity of Lynwood did, on
the 2nd day of Auguat, 1949 approve an inveati�ation Teport under the
proviaions of Divieion 4 of the Streete and Highways Code cited as "spee-
lal Aasessment Inveatigation, Limitation and Ma3ority Protest Act oP
� 193�," upon the propoeed improvement�of San Luie Anenue, the firet alley
northerly of Norton Avenue, and the first alley easterly oY Atlantic
,Avenue, by the construction of sanitary aewera; and
, WHEREAS, said report having been duly prepared and filed, a
hearing was held by said City Council or► the 6 th day of September,
194�9 in the manner provided in eaid Act above referred to; and
WHEREA3, more than thirty days have exuired.since the date
of mailing noticea of hearing on said report;
' NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City oP Lynwood doee
hereby reaolve as followa:
1; That the protests made at said hearing on said investi-
gation report be and the same are hereby onerruled;
2. That the public intereat, convenience, and necessity re-

qu re he doing and making of the public imbrovement set forth•and
deacribed in said report above referred to and substantially in the
manner set forth;
3.. That the proJect conaisting of the propoaefi. improvement
above referred to is Peasible;
4; That the estima.ted total amount proposed to be assesaed
upon any or all lota or pareels of land for the coate and expenaes of
said propoaed improvement does not exceed the limitation of indebtednesa
eatabliahed and aet Porth in said Act above referred to and tvill not,
by the levy,thereof, cause eaid limitation to be exceeded in any inetance;

5. That no ma,]ority protest in writing has been filed by
the ownera oP the property propoaed to be asaesaed to pay the costa and
.expenses of said proposed improvement or any part thereof in the manner

6. That it ie hereby ordered that the proceedinge for the
making of eaid propoaed improvement be undertaken pureuant to the pro—
visions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of California
designated as Diviaio n 7 of tlze Streete and Hlghways Code cited ae
the °Improvement Act oP 1911, and amendments thereto." .
