RESOLUTION N0. 2232
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTE�ITION TO PACATE CERTAIN PORTIONS OF PENDLE-
TON AVENUE. '
The City Council of the Gity of Lynwood doee hereby resolve
ae Pollowa:
Section l: That tha,t portion oP the Yollowin� described
avenue is unnecessary for present or proapective street purpoaea and
that the public interest, necesaity and convenience require, and the '
City Council of said City hereby declarea ita intention to vacate and
abandon that portlon oP said avenue deeoribed aa follows:
Pendleton Avenue Prom Lewia Road to Standard Avenue.
8ection 2: That said portion of the avenue as above dea-,
cribed, lying and being in said City oP Lynwood, ie ahown on Ma,p No. 701
on file in the office of the City Clerk oP said City, and to which all
partiee interested are rePerred to for Purther particulars as to the
proposed vacation and abandonment.
Section 3: That the City of Lynwood reserces an eaeement in,
over, or upon said above described property Por the construction,
erection, and/or taaintenance therein of public utilitiea.
Section 4: That these proceedinga are had and talten under
the proviaiona of Sections 8300 to 8324, both inclusive, of the Streeta
and Highwaye �ode of the State oY California, as amended.
Section 5: 2'hat Tueaday, the 4�th day oP �ctober, 1949 at
the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M: in the Council Chamber of the City Hall,
in eaid City is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearirig any. pro-
teets or ob�ections to the proposed vacation or abandonment of eaid
avenue.
Section 6: That the City Clerk of said City is hereby directe�
��to publ�ish and post notice of the passage of thia resolution in the time
