RESOLUTION OF HEARIi�G OF REPORT ON DEBT LIP�7ITA-
TIOId PROCEEDINGS
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Divi-
eion 4, cited as the "Special Asseasment Investigation, Limitation
and BQa,jority Proteat Act of 1931," the following report be, and the
same is hereby made oF the findings and determiiatione of said City
Council made upon the hearing held e.nd conducted by said City Council
purauant to its order theretofore duly made, upon the Investigation
Report upon the proposed opening of Palm Avenue easterly from Peach
Street in the district ahown within the colored border line on Plan
marked Exhibit "A'� on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City, as proposed in Reaolution No. 2062 of the City Council oP the
City of Lynvrood, and
WHEREAS, the hearing upon said jnveatigation Report was
� held on the 6th day of January, 1948, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock
P. M, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street
in said Gity of Lynwood, and said hearing was continued until January
20 at 8:00 P, fii, at which time said hearing was completed and con-
cluded; and
WHEREAS, at the time of said hearing�, the City Clerk of
the City of Lynwood presented to said City Council his affidavit of
Mailing oP Noticea in the time, form, and manner and to the peraona
as required by law; that said Affidavit is now on file in the office
of said Gity Clerk; and
WHEREAS , at the commencement of said hearing and before
proteats were considered and. had, the investigation Report above
referred to (except as to the map, plat, or diagram attached thereto
and the assessed valuations and true valuationa of, and assessmente
and estimated assessments upon individual parcele of land) was read
and explained to those asaembled in attendance at said hearing; and
6'dHEREAS, there v�ere 15 persone in sttendance at said
hearing, other than those holding and conductin� same, in conneetion
with the hearing of said report;
No written protests were filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Lynwood at or before the time fixed for eaid hearing;
There were no written proteata made or preaented at or
during the progress of said hearing;
There were 8 oral proteats made at eaid hearing; and
WHEREAS said oral proteats were made by the ovrners of more
t?zan fifty per cent (50j�o) of the total frontage of the district
proposed to be assessed for the payment of the coats of said improve-
ment
NOW, THEREFURE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City oP Lynwood that theae proceedings be and the same are hereby
abandoned. �
