CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2011-71
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING SENSITIVE HUNTING AREA 1, GENERALLY
LOCATED SOUTH OF MEDINA ROAD AND EAST OF HUNTER DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina recognizes that hunting and the
discharge of firearms within certain areas of the City poses greater safety concerns due to their
proximity to areas developed more intensely; and
WHEREAS, Section 320.15 authorizes the City Council to designate certain areas in the
City as sensitive hunting areas in which administrative hunting rules may apply; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that hunting and the discharge of firearms
poses such concerns within the area of the City generally located south of Medina Road and east
of Hunter Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Medina hereby
establishes Sensitive Hunting Area 1, which is identified in the map in Exhibit A, attached
hereto.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Pederson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Martinson, Pederson, Siitari, Weir
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
