RESOLUTION N0. 2098
� A RE80LUTION OF THE CITY CGUNCIL OF THE CITY OF -
LYNtd00D, CALIFORNIA, PA55ING UPON OBJECTIONS, AND
DIRECTING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT TO ABATE THE
PiEED NUISANCE THAT EXISTS ON VACAiVT LQTS IN THE
C2TY OF LYNWOOD.
Re St resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, Calif-
ornia, did on the 17th day of February, 1948, adopted Resolution No.
2092 relating to the abatement of dry and drying weeda on certain
lota in the City of Lynwood, and
' GVHEREAB, due notice was given to deatroy euch weeda by
posting "Idotice to Destroy Weeds" noticee at not more than 100 feet
in distance apart as required by law, and
4VHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of
prote�ts.and ob�ections to said a hearing was duly held,and
no written or oral ob,jections were made, either in v¢riting or.orally,
� to the.doing of said work, and
WHEKn.AS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has con-
eidered�all of the facts and is fully informed in the matter;.•that
they have acquired �urisdiction to proceed and perform the work�of
renoval of said nuisances,
,NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Street Superinten-
dent-of the City of Lynwood be and he ia hereby inatructed to.:abate
' the nuisances deacribed in said Resolution �To. 2092 by having the
weeds referred to removed, and he and his assiatanta are hereby ex-
preasly authorized to enter upon private property Por that purpose.
�• v�BE IT FURTfiER RESOLVED that any property owners shalS have
the right to have any such weed nuisance removed and abated at his
ovrn expense, provided auch work is done prior to the time the work
ia done bq the Street Superintendent. If the work ia done by the

property owner, no charge ahall be made by the City of Lyniaood.
