BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, as follows: 1. That purauant to the Streets and Highwaye Code Divieion 4, clted as the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limita- tion and Ma�ority Protest Act of 1931," the following report be, and the same is hereby made of the findings and determinatione of said City Council made upon the hearing held and conducted by said City Council pursuant to ita order theretofore duly made, upon the In- veatigation Report upon the proposed improvement of Atlantic Avenue by the installation of an ornamental 8treet lighting aystem as shown on Plan No. 1948-A on file in the office of the City Clerk of eaid City, as proposed in Resolution No. 2094 of the City Council of the City of Lynwood. - (a) That the hearing upon said Investigation Report was held on the 6th day of April, 1948, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street in said City of Lqnwood, and said hearing wae fully completed and concluded on said date without ad,journment; . (b) That at the time of said hearing�, the Cit,y Clerk of � the City of Lymxood preaented to said City Coixncil his afPidavit of .. Mailing of Noticee in the time, form, and manner and to the peraone as required by law; that said Affidavit is now on file in the office of said City Clerk; (e) That at the commencement of said hearing and before protests ��ere coneidered and had, the Inveetigation Report above rePerred to (except as to the map, plat, or diagram attached thereto and the assesaed valuations and true valuations of, and assessmenta and eatimated assessmenta upon individual parcels of land) was read _1_ 1: � • ' and explained to those assembled in atten@ance at said hearing; (d) 2hat there were 31 persons in attendance at said hearing, other than those holdin� and conducting same, in connection with the hearing oP eaid report; ;(e) That :2b written protests were filed with the Gity , Clerk of the City of Lynwood at or before the time Yixed for said hearing; , (f). That there were no �ritten protesta made or presented at or during the progress of sai� hearing; � (g) That there were 3 oral protests made at said hearing; (h) That said written protests were filed by the owner of less than Pifty per cent (50��) viz., 1� per cent oP the total area of the diatrict propoaed to be asaessed for the payment of the . costa of said improvement; and (i) That the nature of the protests made is as follows: That.prices are too high at thie time. � . y` ,. _'�.
