RESOLUTION N0. 2101
RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS IN CONNECTIUN
WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIN,ITATION.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City oP Lynwood,
' CaliPornia, as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, on
the 17th day of February, 1948, approve an Investigation Report
under the provisions of the Streets and Hi�hways Code Divieion 4, .
cited as "Special Asseesment Investigation, Limitation and I�Sa�ority
Proteet Act of 1931" upon the proposed improvement of Atlantic Avenue
in the City of Lynwood by the inatallation of an ornamental atreet
li�hting syatem, and
WHEREAS, said Report having been duly prepared and filed,
a hearing was held thereon by said City Council on the 6th day of
April, 1948 in the manner provided in eaid Act above referred to,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has here-
tofore, and on the 6th day of April, 1948, adopted its Resolution
of Report of said hearing, which said reaolution of report was, on
the 6th day of April, 1948, filed with the Clerk oP eaid City
Council, all in the time, form and manner required under the pro-
visiona of said Act above referred to; and
WHEREAS, lese than thirty days have expired since the date
of filing the last said report;
. NOW, THEREFGRE, the City Council.of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve ae follows:
(1) That the protests made at said hearing on eaid
Investigation Report be, and the same are hereby overruled;
(2) That the public intereet, convenience and necesslty
require the doing and making of the public improvement aet forth

and described in said Report above referred to and subetantially
in the manner therein set forth;
(3) That the pro�ect, conaiating of the proposed
improvement above referred to, is feasible;
_ (4) That the eatimated total amount propoaed to be
assesaed upon any or all lote or Farcels of land for the costs and
expenses of said propoaed improvement does not exceed the limitation
of indebtedness eatabllEhed and set forth in said Act above reYerred
to and will not, by the levy thereof, cause eaid limitation to be
exeeeded in any instance;
(5) That no ma�orlty protest in writin� has been filed
by the ownera of property proposed to be assessed to pay the casts
and expensea of said propoaed improvement or any pa.rt thereof, in
trie manner provided in said Act ebove referred to;
(6) That it is hereby ordered that the proceedinga for
the making oP said proposed improvement be undertaken pursuant to
the provisions of an Act of the Legielature of the Stete of Ce11f-
ornia desi$nated as the Streets and Hi�hways Code Division 7 cited
as "Improvement Act of 1911", and amendments thereto.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th clay of April, 1948.
