BE IT RESOLVED by +he City Council of the City of Lynvaood,
California, as followat �
WHEREf�S, pursuant to an Act of the Legisleture oY the State
of California, apvroved April 24, 1937, and known as the "Labor Code,"
the City Council of the City of Lynwood is required to ascertain'the
general prevAiling rate of hourly wages and the general prevailin�
rate of hourly wages for legal holidays and overtime v¢ork,' in this
locality, for each craft or type of laborer, workman or mechanic
`� ` needed to execute tfie contract Por furnish3ng and delivering certain
� materials and supplies in connection with the improvement of that
_ property by the ins.tallation of an ornamental atreet lightinb system
in Atlantic Anenue between the northerly line of the Pacific Electric
Comnany�a private right-oP-e:ay and the northerly boundary line of the
City of Lyr_iuood, in accordance P!ith Plans and Specifications No.1948-A-1
cr. file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City of Lynwood.

doea hereby resolve as follovas:
