RESOLUTION ORDERIiVG THE P70RK OR Ii�PROVF344�T AND DIRECTIiVG THE CITY CLEF.K TO GIVE NOTICE IiQVITID?G BIDS. Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lyntivood as followa: Section 1: In the opinion of BASd Gi ty Council, the publlc interest and convenience require, and said City Council having acquired ,Jurisdiction so to do, the following work or improvement is hereby ordered to be done, to-wit: the construction and installation of an ornamental lighting system in Atlantic Avenue between the northerly line of the Pacific Electric Railway Company's right-of-way and the northerly boundary of the City o£ Lynwood, including portions of inter- seeting streets. Section 2: All o£ the work or improvement aforementioned, shall be done as contemplated in Reaolution of Intention No, 2103 of the City Gouncil of the City of Lynwood, to which reference is hereby made for further particulars. � Section 3: Said propesed K�ork, or improvement, in the opinion of said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary publie benefit, and said City Council hereby determinea and declarea that the diatrict .to be benefited by said worls or improvement, and to be assessed to pay the entire costa and expensea thereof is particularly described in Resolution of Intention No. 2103. Reference is hereby made to afore- mentioned resolution and to mao of proposed assesament diatrict, Plan No..1948-A-2, for further particulars as to the extent of the asseas- ment district. Section 4: The proceedings for the aforesaid work or im- provement shall be had and taken under an Act oP the Legislature of the State of California deaignated the Streeta and Highways Code, ._ . _ _.. . Division 7, and cited �s the "Improvement Act of 1911", and �.mendments thereto. � Section 5: The City Council hereby determires and declares that serial bonda shall be isaued in the form and manner provided in said aforementioned Act, bearing interest at the rate of six (6) per centum per annum to represent each assessment of twenty-five (�25.00) dollars or over, remaining unpaid for thirty days after the date of the �arrant. Said serial bonds ahall extend over a period ending nine yeara from the second day of_January next succeeding the next October 15th following their d2te. Said bonds and interest thereon shall be paid at the office of the City Treasurer of said City a.nd shall be diabursed by him, all aa provided in said. Act.
