RESOLUTION OVERRULING'PROTESTS AN� DETERll4INING �
, THAT THE CITY CUUPdCIL HAS ACQUIRED NRISDICTIOPd
TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK.
��riEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lyn�vood, dic� on
the,6th day of Apri1, 1948, adopt its Resolution of Intentiori No. 2108
to order the improvement of certain portions of Atlantic Avenue in the
'. City of Lynwood by the construction of cement conCrete sidewalks, and
�VHEREAB, Tuesday the 4th day of May, T948, at the hour of
8:00 o'clock P. P,4. at the Council,Chambers in the City Hall in said
City was the time and pTace set said Resolution of Intention, when
and where any ob�ections to the proposed work or improvement, or ta
the extent of the district to be assessed or to the grades to which
the work was proposed to be done, would be heard by said City Council;
and

WHEREAB, the City Clerk of said City has heretofore presented
and filed an afPida.vit of publication of said Resolution of Intention
sho�ving the same was published accor.ding� to law; and
VdHEREAS, seid City Clerk has also presented and filed. hia
afficlavit of mailing notices of the adoption of_said Reaolution of
Intention in the time, form and manner, and to the persons, all �s
” provided by an Act of the Le;islature of the State of California deaig-
nc�ted as "Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Cocle" and eited as
the '�Improvement Act of 1911°, and amendments thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer-Superintendent oP Streets has
heretofore presented and filed an affidavit showing that noticea of�
the passage of said Resolution of Intention have been posted in the
time and manner provided in said Act; and
WHEREA3; at said hearing held on the 4th day of May, 1948,

; no protests were filed agairist any of the things proposed to be done
. under said Resblution of Intention.
N04d, TFiEREFqRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lyn�ood that the said City Council has acquired fuTl ,�uris-
diction to order the proposed work or imnrovement.
APPRUVED and ADOPTED this 4t d8g of May, 1948.
