A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 7, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
FOR THE SALE OF A PORTION OF PUBLIC PROPERTY KNOWN AS OUTLOT C,
IN PRAIRIE VILLAGE RESIDENTIAL — PART ONE, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN
Whereas, the property owner at 906 Ella Avenue has contacted the City of Tiffin for the
possible sale and purchase of a portion of public property known as Outlot C in Prairie
Village Residential -- Part One, for the purpose of expanding his yard; and,
Whereas, it is a requirement for the City to hold a public hearing for the sale of such
real estate,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
date for the Public Hearing is set for June 7, 2022, for formal action on of such sale of
real estate.
On the 17th day of May, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Orris introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-047, A RESOLUTION
SETTING THE DATE OF JUNE 7, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE SALE
OF A PORTION OF PUBLIC PROPERTY KNOWN AS OUTLOT C, IN PRAIRIE
VILLAGE RESIDENTIAL — PART ONE, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN and made a motion
for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Havens, Orris, Schnedler.
Nays: None.
Absent: Limkemann, Olney.
Whereupon three Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-047, A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE
OF JUNE 7, 2022, FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE SALE OF A PORTION OF
PUBLIC PROPERTY KNOWN AS OUTLOT C, IN PRAIRIE VILLAGE RESIDENTIAL
— PART ONE, IN THE CITY OF TIFFIN to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 17th day of May, 2022.
