BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of L,yn�voal,
California, a� follo�vs:
. 4VHEREAS, pursuant to an Act o£ the Legislature of the State
of California, approved April 24, 1937, and known as the "Labor Code,"
the City Council of the City of Lynwood is required to ascertain the
general prevailing rate of hourly wages ancl the general prevailing
rate of hour wages for leoal holidays and, overtime work, in this
locality, for each craft or type'of laborer, workman or mechanic
needed to execute the contract for furnishing and deliverin� certain
materials and supplies in connection Gvith the improvenent of that .
property by the construction of cement concrete sideivalks in the weaterly
side of Atlantic Avenue between Shirley Avenue and Sanborn Avenue in
accordance with Plana and Specifications No. 1948-B-1 on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the said City of Lynwood.
NOV7, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lyn�vood
doee hereby resolye as follows:
Section 1: The City Gouncil of tne City of Lyn�rood does
hereby ascertain and d.etermine that the general prevailing rate of hour-
<ly;'�z wages, in the locality in which said work, or improvement, is to
be done, for each craft or type of laborer, �^orkman or mechanic needed
to execute the.contract for furnish3n� and deliverin� certain materials
and supplies in connection with the improvement hereinabove described
